The Danish Royal House is one the oldest in the world - having existed for more than 1000 years - and it seems to go very well along with a modern democracy. The danes love their queen Margrethe, who is looked upon as one the brightest Royals in Europe. She is also an artist and very sensitive in her way of balancing her role beetween old traditions and new ways of living.

She is married to Henrik, the French born Prince Consort. They have two sons. One of them is the very popular crownprince Frederik, married to the also very populur and Australien born Mary. They have two children. The other son of The Danish Royal House is the “intellectual farmer and charmer” Joachim. He has two sons and are living in the southern part of Denmark, close to Germany.
